About the Funds
The IATSE Local One Benefit Funds were established through collective bargaining to provide structured, reliable benefit programs for eligible members of Local One. Supported by employer contributions, the Funds are designed to deliver essential health, welfare, and retirement benefits that reflect the unique needs of New York’s stagecraft and entertainment professionals.
The Funds are overseen by a Board of Trustees composed of union and employer representatives who work jointly to ensure the programs are administered responsibly and in accordance with all governing plan documents. Their stewardship ensures that the Funds operate with long‑term stability, transparency, and compliance at the forefront.
Through coordinated administration and ongoing review, the Funds play a central role in maintaining the health, financial security, and retirement readiness of the Local One community.
